Google’s response to the bid to Wikipedia articles written by experts in the fields covered, but will soon be allowed to enter any articles, which will then be valued by the community.
The system makes Wikipedia entire user community publishers, but Google appears that the system has not convinced all, and have opted for a mixed model. The first version of Knol (the term ‘knowledge’ knowledge), which is now operational, is only available in beta closed, but soon will be open to the general public.
Udi Manber, one of those responsible for the project, says that “the key idea behind Knol is to give importance to the authors.” The articles will be accompanied by a card in which the words of the author of the article and his credentials, but what kind of control will take on the veracity of the same?
Some believe that the emphasis on the allocation of responsibilities will improve the model of Wikipedia, a project that has been hit by scandals modification of information to meet business and personal interests, and the idea is that Knol such errors do not occur .

My personal opinion about Google’s opted option for ‘a mixed model’ is not acceptable, as Wikipedia and Veropedia are running on that direction. So, why delicacy? By using your platform, I would also like to post some general queries to you. If possible on your part,please let me know?
Where the Knol are?
As the top most popular General Purpose Search Engine, we always expect some special and valuable from Google. Now, after the announcement of Knol by Google, we are eagerly waiting for its public launce as well as news and announcement of its ongoing development. So, I hope to find here the latest happening about Knol.
Why Knolstuff are so casual?
After the announcement of Knol, I was eagerly wanted to include my articles and writeup in the form of Knol. So, when on January, 3, 2008, I have signed up to knolstaff, I have posted my query over there. But, I was sufficiently disappointed as its members are not responsive at all. Now only, I came to know that it is still to open to the public eye.
Knolstuff created many groups for discussion. But the astonishing fact is that, they are not responding to the queries posted by its members on the respective groups? How Knolstuff can be so casual? If possible sufficient stress should be given to respond the queries within 24 hours itself.
Why not cohesive?
Google developing new sites with new domain name over Internet to meet the different needs of Knol. But, there is lack of continuity, i.e. link from one site to another.
Directory structure for the Knol
There must need to be a directory structure for all Knol pages that is lacking in the screenshot of Knol page available over internet. The Directory should arrange all Knols in a given subject under some categories that can be easily browsed by the users. What structure will best to meet the need? What actually Google is planning?
Why not original Photographs
So far 2630 members are joined in Knolstuff platform. It is good that its members are increasing in a fire speed but I have noticed that many of the members are using some noise photograph in their profile? Why they are trying to avoid using their original photograph. If they do so it will be better from all respect. The Knol pages will also be full of such type of deviation. What Google is planning to avoid such type of deviation.
